Thanks, Lorien. I appreciate the encouragement. And your right … sometimes people just have to follow what it is that makes them passionate, even that requires an about-face. I love flying, always will. In fact, sitting around not flying was part of my dissatisfaction with aerial firefighting.

I do hope you’ll join me. It’s so much more fun to blaze trails in groups.

I know of you through your firefighting and when I found out you left the field, had deep curiosity as to what would prompt such. From what I had understood, you are a skilled pilot and communicator with a passion for flight.

As one who understands that a passionate person may need to change routes, I look forward to watching you wield a new path.

Kudos to you, strong woman, for valuing yourself enough to continue steeping out of comfort zones and settling for nothing less than what fulfills you.
